La Posada de Babylonia

Si quieres tomar unas copas en la zona del paseo marítimo, La Posada de Babylonia es muy buena opción. Este pub tiene una ambientación muy cuidada con elementos del Oriente: lámparas, colores rojizos... y ofrece tanto cafés como copas desde la tarde hasta la madrugada.
Es ideal para salir a bailar los fines de semana, ya que es uno de los locales del paseo marítimo que permanece abierto toda la noche. Tienen un dj que pincha música comercial.

The building, dating back to 1801, was designed by the architect José Gabarrón and is in the Neoclassical style. Its three-storey façade divided in three sections features the whole technical repertoire of the style; the ground floor is decorated with padding and openings with semi-circular openings; the upper floors with double bolstered pilasters and classic capitals in the central section and simple in the others; the openings are finished with straight pediments.

Cadiz Conference Centre

The Conference Centre was constructed using the structure of the Cadiz Royal Tobacco factory, which was first built by Phillip V of Spain in 1741 on the site of the city's former corn exchange.  The current building, structured in three storeys, with an irregular floor plan covered an unobstructed city block, was built there in 1883.

The building is located in the former La Bomba Barracks and is the Exhibition Room of Cadiz University.
The famous La Bomba Lecture Room, renamed the 1812 Constitution Building to mark the Bicentenary Commemoration, is one of the best known sites of the city of Cadiz.

The Cadiz Unicaja Cultural Centre (CUC) is a space that has been set up with the aim of becoming one of the main centres of Cadiz's cultural life, acting as a stimulus for reflection, an educational centre and a factor to energize the surrounding area. The Centre, designed as an open space for the general public, has a broad programme of cultural activities such as exhibitions, lectures, music, theatre, dance, films or popular traditions.

The Integral Centre for Women is the first building exclusively dedicated to equality of the history of the city, where the most innovative actions in areas of equal opportunities for men and women are combined with cultural-exhibition spaces.
The exhibition facilities include the “Fernando Quiñones” and “Cigarreras de Cádiz” exhibition rooms, the room for training in new technologies “Marcela Blanco”, the Cyberwoman, the Municipal Policies Gallery, the “Alejandrina Gessler” Assembly Room of the “Antonia Gilabert Vargas (La Perla de Cádiz”) Artistic Expression Room.

La Merced Art of Flamenco Municipal Centre

La Merced Art of Flamenco Municipal Centre is located at the heart of the Santa Maria neighbourhood, the cradle of flamenco in the city.  The centre is in the premises that used to house the Plaza de la Merced produce market.
It hosts a very varied programme of activities related to Flamenco, including concerts, classes, exhibitions, etc. Its total surface area is 740 m2 and it has 6 soundproofed rehearsal rooms for teaching flamenco - guitar, voice and dance - to small groups and a large stage for master classes and shows. The main area can fit up to 200 seats.
