Puertatierra

Il Museo Litográfico ha le sue origini nell'antica Litografia Tedesca di Cadice, installata nel 1861 e che ha funzionato per la stampa artistica fino alla fine del XX secolo. Si tratta di uno dei pochi musei del suo genere presente in Spagna, oltre ad essere il più completo. Inoltre, è opportuno ricordare che Cadice è stata la terza città spagnola, dopo Madrid e Barcellona ad avere un laboratorio litografico.

La ruta turístico-cultural sobre las fortificaciones militares de extramuros de Cádiz tiene como objetivo prioritario dar a conocer y poner en valor el patrimonio histórico y arqueológico del sistema defensivo de esta zona de la ciudad. Dicho sistema estuvo formado fundamentalmente por baterías, murallas y fuertes.

The City Council of Cádiz has opened the Torreón of the Puerta de Tierra and the upper walkway to the public, carrying out conditioning, patching, and rehabilitation work on spaces and certain historical elements. The works included improving the cobblestone paving, creating a safety perimeter, repairing the base of the skylights and their replacement, fixing the restrooms, and clearing the entire area. Additionally, 62 cast-iron mortar shells from the late 17th and early 19th centuries have been restored and are now exhibited in the central vault.
